Eng. Basma Sadeq

Historian Committe Chair

Eng. Basma Sadek is a dedicated and accomplished mechanical engineer, holding a degree from the British University in Egypt (BUE).

Currently working as a Senior Sales Engineer at Daikin, Basma combines her technical expertise with a deep understanding of client needs to deliver cutting-edge HVAC solutions. Her passion for innovation and her commitment to excellence have earned her a respected position in the industry. In addition to her professional role, Basma is an active leader within the ASHRAE community, serving as the Historian Chair for the ASHRAE Cairo Chapter.

Her involvement extends to Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA), where she contributes as a Member at Large. Through these roles, she is driven by a desire to foster knowledge, build meaningful connections, and inspire others in the engineering field. Basma’s journey reflects not just her technical prowess, but also her dedication to continuous learning, leadership, and community engagement-qualities that make her a dynamic force in both her professional and personal endeavors.
